A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM on January 7th, 2023, at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, 7301 E Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76112, with the Pastor Ricky Allen of Victory Fellowship Church, officiating. A reception will follow immediately after the service.
Trosy was born in Mineral Wells, TX to Jasper Mace “Tros” and Clovis Avis “Clo” Rexroat on July 29, 1942.
She attended Pascal High School in Fort Worth, TX. On Valentines Day in 1966, she received a marriage proposal and married David Claude Worthington in Fort Worth TX, on August 30th of the same year, and was married for 56 years. Trosy reveled in being a traditional stay-at-home Mother, who dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. Even after her kids were grown, she was always there to help them and any other family or friends that needed her assistance. We miss you so much...
Trosy was preceded in death by parents Tros and Clo Rexroat, brothers Jimmy, Ricky, and Joel Rexroat.
Trosy is survived by her husband David Worthington, sons Wayne and Richie Worthington, daughters Mindi and Molly Worthington, grandchildren Justin and his wife Daniella Lovelady, Trevor and Travis Worthington and Virginia “Vee” Kanaly, Jacob Jadlowski, Chance, Carter, and Callum Worthington, and great grandson Jax Lovelady, other extended family, Sassy the Dog, and Durango the Parrot.
The Worthington family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the East Side Fort Worth Fire Department for quick, professional assistance, and for treating all of the family with dignity and respect.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.shannonrosehill.com for the Worthington family.
