While working for Pittsburg Plate Glass, she met the great love of her life, Thomas Weldon Clardy, and they were married in 1946. They celebrated 58 years of marriage together and have one daughter, Patricia. Virginia was a wonderful homemaker. She selflessly devoted herself to caring for her family. Always an active woman, she was deeply involved with St. Paul Methodist Church for over 50 years and subsequently joined the Edge Park United Methodist congregation. Her family and friends will always remember her as an independent spirit and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank her Methodist church family, Harris Hospital and the Brookdale community for their support.
