

Weldon Edward Wuistinger, lovingly known as Red, took the hand of his Lord on Saturday March 26, 2016. Service: 10 a.m. Thursday at Charity Lutheran Church, 1101 SW Wilshire Blvd., 76028. Interment: 3 p.m. in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Hamilton. Visitation: The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Memorials: The family wishes donations to be made in lieu of flowers to the Charity Lutheran Church, Wuistinger Memorial, 1101 SW Wilshire Blvd., Burleson, Texas 76028. Weldon was born Aug. 7, 1932, to Herman and Bertha Wuistinger in Hamilton. He attended school and finished 12 years of schooling never missing a day or having so much as one tardy slip. This paved the way for strong work ethics and built a dependable character in Weldon. He was a Korean War veteran and after serving his duty in the U.S. Army he returned home and went to work for Central Freight. He retired as a dock manager after 37 years with the company, training others and working hard to make sure logistics ran smoothly. Survivors: He leaves his memory and legacy with his loving wife, Leona; children, Edward Wuistinger and wife, Joyce, Becky Ingalsbe, Greg Ruff, Randal Ruff; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; extended family; and many dear friends.
