Yvonne Roland

Yvonne ROLAND, age 73, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Yvonne was born April 21, 1948 to Cleveland James and Alfa Mae Nealy. She was the eldest of her two siblings, Louis and Vincent Nealy. She loved education while attending James E. Guinn Elementary and the historical I.M. High School. It was there that she met the love of her life, her husband, Wayne Oliver Roland. Out of that beautiful union God blessed her with two children, Keith Shawn and Charmel Yvette Roland. Yvonne loved the good news of Jesus Christ. She played the piano for and was a long time member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church where she was baptized and got saved.

Yvonne took pride in working and retiring from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company as a Switch board Operator. But her true joy came form being a wonderful Mother to her children. She was dedicated to their growth and well being.

Over the years she faced many obstacles but over come them with faith in God and the love from her family and friends. Her legacy has been solidified as the embodiment of unconditional love. Proceeding her in death are her parents, her brother louis and a host of many family and friends. Her survivor's are her beloved children, Keith (Sharon) and Charmel Roland and her brother, Vincent (Renee); her two nephews, Garland and Jamail Nealy; her loving grandchildren, Demarcus Roland and Markiece Dowell, Rasheed and Ojsha Dial; her nephew, Garland (Bernadette) and great niece, Madison; along with her great granddaughter, Kalani Chanel Dowell (LaQuisha Murphy) and a host of family and friends.
