

In her earlier years she attended Most Holy Redeemer Catholic School in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. It was during her teenage years that she met and married Ronald Edward Tucker Sr; from this union she bore three children, Tonia, Ronald Jr. and Rahiem. Mommy’s youngest, Vernon, would come later.
Yvonne entered the work field as a payroll account-supervisor for a few well known corporations. With her lively personality, the self-proclaimed Hip Hop Grandma or GiGi as she was affectionately known to her grand and great-grandchildren enjoyed, shopping, reading, fashion, traveling, music, dancing, and art. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her family and cooking for the holidays. Yvonne scribed day-to-day logs in her journal and read scriptures from the Bible daily. In 1984 Yvonne met and fell in love with Jasper Patterson. They married in 1992 and moved to Texas in 1997; with Jasper’s three children Monique, Devie and Phillip, they formed the modern-day Brady Bunch who became known as the Lucky Seven.
Yvonne is survived by her husband Jasper Patterson; seven children Tonia(Bain), Monique, Devie, Ronald Jr, Rahiem(Stacey), Vernon(Delise) and Phillip; 12 grandchildren Caresse, Tuniqua, Jasmine, Tashiana, Rahiem II, Breyonna, Jaelyn, Tahlir, Suzuki ,Alexa, Assata, and Attara; three great-grandchildren Summer Joi, Jaenique, and Mia Mercy; three nieces Barbara, Gail and Judy; two nephews Harry and Donald (d.) a sister Helen (d.), Mother-in-law from her first marriage Carolyn Ferguson, Sister-in-laws; Marilyn, Fredericka, Vanessa, Dot(Charlie), Lavonia, Maxine, Brother-in-laws; Allen, James, Aaron, Davis(Rozzie), Napoleon(Ethel Jane), Wiley and Jimmy(Peggy), Lifelong friend Tina, and a host of loving family members and friends.
