Barbara Ann Hansen of Norton and formerly of Framingham, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro following a period of declining health. She was 85 and the wife for 51 years of Arthur P. Hansen. Born in Billerica, Massachusetts June 19, 1927, she was the daughter of the late George Edmond and Frances (Hoar) Leslie. Mrs. Hansen was a graduate of Framingham High School, Class of 1945,and was employed as a teller for many years at the former Framingham Trust Company. Over the years her husband was assigned to work in various parts of the world and Mrs. Hansen was able to join him and live in Spain for seven years. In addition to her husband, Arthur, she leaves nieces, nephews and extended family members. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, December 13, at 10:30 am at the MetroWest Funeral and Cremation Service of Wadsworth-Chiappini, 318 Union Ave., Framingham. Entombment will take place in the Mausoleum at Edgell Grove Cemetery following the service.
