

Born in Cambridge, MA, the son of Ernest and Anna Latham-Brown. In addition to his wife, Mary , he also leaves two children, Ernest Latham-Brown and his wife Julie, Carol Faini and her husband Arthur; two grandsons, Ellis and Jesse Latham-Brown; also his cousin, Donald Kadish.
He received his education at Rindge Technical School in Cambridge, Tufts College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He was a Life Member of the American Society of metals, and the American Institute of Metallurgical Engineers.
Mr. Latham-Brown was a retired metallurgist from the Kennecott Copper Corporation and the Nuclear Metals Company of Concord. He was a member of the Atomic Energy Commission Manhattan Project and served with the Unites States Naval Air Service in the Philippines. He served in the Navy patrolling the Philippine Islands during World War II. A Past Commander of the United States Power Squadrons, he also served on the Board of Directors of The Cushing Hospital Auxiliary and was a member of the Framingham Radio Club. He was active in church groups, both at Payson Park in Belmont and Grace Church in Framingham.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 10AM-12PM at the MetroWest Funeral & Cremation Service of Wadsworth-Chiappini, 318 Union Avenue, Framingham. Funeral services with military honors will follow at 12PM.
Burial at the Cambridge Cemetery will be private.
