Mary Daniels

On October 2, 2016 at Laurel Ridge Rehabilitation and Nursing in Boston, the Lord called home Mary Josephine Galloway Daniels to join her departed siblings: Ellen Maude Bramble, Albertha Allen, Elizabeth Cabey, Tom and Miriam Lindsay, and Alfred Galloway.

Mary was born March 8, 1931 on the island of Montserrat in the West Indies, daughter of Joseph and Ellen Sweeney Greenaway Galloway. Mrs. Daniels worked in the restaurant business back in the Caribbean and a foster parent for many years at the Henry Buckner in Cambridge.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph “Moses” Daniels of England; mother of eight children, Joycelyn Edwards and her husband Allan of Dorchester, William Galloway and his wife Annesta of Ashland, Catherine Galloway of W. Roxbury, Diane Daniels-Griffith and her husband Anthony of Roslindale, Josephine Hoey and her husband Patrick of Hyde Park;, Joseph Galloway and his fiancé Patricia of Dorchester, all of MA, Clement Galloway and his wife Merlyn of Toronto, Canada, Helen Daniels of London. Mary is survived by her sisters: Margaret Molyneaux, Matilda Molyneaux, Joycelyn Ryan Gerald; 35 grandchildren: Marilyn, Suzette, Alleana, Hameen, Anwar, Atiyyah, Shakir, Ulina, Fitzroy, Jesseania, Sandrene, Walter, Nafeesa, Nisreen, Vidal, Kevin, David, Dwano, Daviano, Erica, Arnold Jr., Evered, Everlym Zarinah, Hakim, Kareem, Kyon, Lennard, Shemica, Jessica, Nadine, Tavio, Donnovern, Amber, Eugene (predeceased) and Kristen (predeceased); 31 great grandchildren: Alisa, Aaron, Amanee, Aneesah, Na’imah, Hanniyah, Xionne, Akila, Vhyorne, Kijahrie, Elijah, Alexia, Aseniah, Amaiyha, Jeremiah, Nathanial, Aliyanna, Joshua, Josiah, Myka, Dekoya, Mikala, Omarion, Ocean, Demorio, Kamaya, Kieron, Dicchari, Ethan, & Mila; 2 great-great grandchildren: Zaniah & Jacyn; nieces and nephews: John Lindsey (predeceased), Ruth Pond (predeceased), Ethel Barzey, Danny Lindsey, Annesta Lindsey, Vincent Duberry, Islyn Lindsey Bonsu, Harriet Benjamin, Kelvin Lindsey, Randolph Lindsey, Viola Lindsey, Gloria Lindsey, Miriam Lindsey Thadslyn Galloway, Caroljean Galloway, Ezrone Galloway, Beulah Galloway, Angela Galloway, Alfred Galloway Jr., Josephine, Emelda Lindsey, Neville HIckson, Audrey Prince, Alfred Lindsey, Glendora Bass, Olga Molyneaux, Lenford, Charles, Carlton & Keith Molyneaux, Anne, Mary, and more including cousins and friends too numerous to mention,

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 at 7PM at the Greater Framingham Community Church, 44 Franklin Street, Framingham. Viewing hours will be held on Friday from 5-7PM at the church prior to the service.

An additional viewing will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Greater Framingham Community Church, 44 Franklin Street from 9-10AM with procession to follow for burial at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham.
