

She attended the State University of New York at Oneonta, where she was an active member of the Alpha Kappa Phi Sorority and earned a Bachelor of Science degree, double majoring in Elementary Education and Music. She went on to teach early childhood education in New York and New Jersey before becoming a full-time homemaker. Prior to college, Paula attended New Dorp High School in Staten Island, where she was a permanent member of the academic honor roll.
Paula was passionate about music, particularly rock and roll—especially Bob Seger, John Fogerty, and Tina Turner—as well as the blues. She was a highly skilled bridge player and an avid reader of mystery novels. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and cherished any opportunity to sit by the ocean.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved son, Jonathan Lally.
Paula is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Patrick Lally of Lunenburg, MA; her son, Eric Lally, and his wife, Stacey, of Sudbury, MA; and her four grandchildren, Brianna, Megan, Madison, and Gavin.
A private burial will take place at Moravian Cemetery in Staten Island, NY. A celebration of life will be held at the Sudbury residence of Eric and Stacey Lally on Sunday, May 17.
