Donald Mae Davis

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Franklin Main Street Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, Alphonse (Kelli) Rollins III, Harry Davis, Jr., Derek Dabney, all of Dallas Texas, Kenneth (Diane) Bowers- Baldwin, Louisiana, Christopher (Lakeshia) Peters of Dallas, Texas, her daughters, Nadean (Gregory) Carr- Franklin, Louisiana, Natalie (Jonathon) Gunner and Dontrelle Davis (Donald Fontenot), both of Atlanta, Georgia, Darnita Davis- Franklin, Louisiana, Cassandra (Raymond) Coleman of Atlanta, Georgia; brothers:, Horace (Dorothy) Bowles of Los Angeles, California, Donaldson (Jacqueline) Bowles Jr. of Franklin, Louisiana; her sister, Gertie Bowles Lee of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; her godchild, Dana Todd Greene of California; a longtime devoted friend, Lori Davis of Franklin, Louisiana; a special devoted companion, John Carroll Lockette of New Iberia, Louisiana; and a “special circle of friends,” Vicky Ann Williams, Carol Bowser, and Eleanor Bell Small, all of Franklin, Louisiana, and Elnora Lewis of Baldwin, Louisiana; twenty four grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, along with a host of relatives and friends.

Donald Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Donaldson Bowles Sr. and Irene Turner-Jackson-Bowles; her first husband, Alphonse Rollins, Jr.; her second husband, Harry Davis, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Percy and Gertrude Jackson; paternal grandparents, Rosetta and Henry Bowles; two sons, Trent Domingue and Donald E. Davis Sr.; one grandson, Donald E. Davis Jr.; and her fur baby, Sieto Davis.
