Wilma Johnson, a native of Pensacola, Florida and resident of New Iberia, Louisiana transitioned peacefully on December 15, 2025, at the age of 81at New Iberia Manor North Nursing Home. She was born on September 8, 1944.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her sisters, Linda Elliott of Starkville, Mississippi, Lolette Gant of Texarkana, Arkansas, Dorothy Guy and Pauline Thomas, both of Franklin, Louisiana; a brother, Willie Rogers of Chicago, Illinois; and her special cousin, Robbie Collier.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, James Johnson; her parents, Ned Elliott and Pauline Thomas; and her stepmother, Alneta Elliott; her sisters, Paulette Mouton, Corrine Foster, Eva Barr and Addie McDonald; and brothers, James Brooks, Luke Thomas, Eugene Thomas, and Louis Thomas.
