She was born on February 24, 1962 in Manhattan, the daughter of Edward and Ann (Vanderzyden) Brown. She married Todd Woodard on June 2, 1984.
Lizzie worked from several years as a custodian for SUNY Delhi.
She was an avid NY Giants and NASCAR fan, her favorite driver being Kevin Harvick. She loved dancing, camping, going to garage sales, riding snowmobile, riding her side by side, kayaking, gardening, and driving her Jeep. She was very serious about decorating for all the holidays. Her favorite color was purple.
Lizzie had a lot of friends and family who loved her dearly. She loved spending time with her daughter in law and granddaughters. She enjoyed her animals, especially her German Shepherds.
She is survived by her husband, Todd Woodard of Franklin; a son, Robert Woodard of Belleville, IL; a son, Mathew Woodard of Norwich; granddaughters, Peyton Marie and Temperance Ann Woodard; a brother, George Brown of Thailand; a sister Carolyn Flaherty of Florida; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 gathering restrictions, the family will have a graveside service in the Ouleout Valley Cemetery later this summer.
