

She was born on March 31, 1944 in Plattsburgh, NY, the daughter of Julien and Genevieve (Turcotte) Allie. She married Herman Herklotz on October 19, 1996.
A long-time resident of Norwich, Sheila operated a daycare out of her home for many years. She loved her dogs and enjoyed knitting, quilting and traveling. When she was able, she also enjoyed flower gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Herman “Butch” Herklotz; her daughter Brenda and Robert Green; and her son Kyle and Donna Hall; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Montroy, Francis and John Horr, and Isabell Allie; a brother, Owen and Donna Allie; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Harold Hall; and her son, Steven Hall.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 27, at the Kenneth L. Bennett Funeral Home, 425 Main St., Franklin.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 28, at the Franklin United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. John Hill officiating.
Burial will be held at a later date in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Norwich.
