Barbara R. Walters, age 83, of Middletown, passed away Friday morning at the Hospice of Butler and Warren County. She was born in Middletown, May 3, 1927, the daughter of Frank and Rubbie Neal. Barbara worked as a Secretary for the Legal Department of Armco Steel for 30 years; and then worked as a Legal Secretary for the Frost & Jacobs law firm. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Her husband, Harold J. Walters, preceded her in death in 2006. Survivors include her brother, Frank Neal of Franklin; a nephew, Dan Beth Neal of Franklin; a niece, Susie Schoenberger of Middletown; and numerous other nephews and great-nephews.
