Barry Aster Hensley, age 63, of Carlisle, Ohio, died Friday December 21, 2018 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 31, 1954 to Aster and Clara (Wilson) Hensley. Barry served in the US Army during the Vietnam War was a member of the Farmersville Lodge #482 F&AM and the A.A.S.R. Valley of Dayton. He was employed with CH2M Hill Mound Laboratories, the Franklin Police Dept. and a contractor for Care Source retiring in 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Aster Hensley, brothers, Malcolm Hensley, Randall Hensley. Barry is survived by his wife of 43 years Sherry (Oglesby) Hensley; his mother, Clara Belle Hensley; and a nephew, Martin Hensley; three great nephews, Ty, Grant and Ben Hensley. Funeral services are 9am Friday December 28, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH with Pastor Mike Gray officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm to 8pm with a Masonic service to follow at the funeral home.
