Betty retired from General Motors after 30 plus years. Betty’s family and friends would describe her as a “straight shooter” and that she had great conviction in her beliefs. She never wavered. She was especially outspoken about her faith in Jesus. Betty was known as a fervent prayer warrior. Her faith and love for Jesus was evident in the life she lived before her community and before her family.
Since her retirement, Betty enjoyed traveling to getaways like Gatlinburg, Vero Beach, and Mackinac Island with her loving husband, going on shopping sprees with her daughters, and visiting on the porch with her sister and other family members who stopped by. Betty was always about her family and loved participating in the lives of her grandchildren. The extra time after retirement was especially nice as she was able to participate even more with her youngest grandchildren. In addition, she was always up for a competitive game of Rook. Betty is so loved and cherished by her family and she will be deeply missed.
