Betty Evelyn Sickle

Betty Evelyn Sickle, age 81 of Palmetto, Florida passed away on December 25, 2024, at Manatee Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. Born in Lynch, Kentucky, she was the daughter to the late Leland & Henerietta (Jackson) Baker. She resided with her late husband, Gail, of 39 years in Franklin, Ohio, where she owned her own salon and worked as a hair stylist for many years. Betty was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ellenton, Florida. She was an amazing host and enjoyed cooking and baking. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and friends and will truly be missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Gail Sickle: sons Gary Sickle; Steven Sickle; Mark Sickle: brothers John C. Baker; Larry G. Baker: daughter-in-law Robin Sickle.

Betty is survived by her son Bruce Sickle of Monroe, Ohio: daughters-in-law Janet Sickle of Greenfield, Indiana and Carrie Sickle of Sevierville, Tennessee: grandchildren Alison Stephens; Emily (Jake) Hendrickson; Bethany (Andrew) Beaver; Zachary Sickle; Simon (Hannah) Sickle; Olivia Sickle: as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and close friends.

A memorial service is Friday, January 31, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home - 1357 E Second St, Franklin, Ohio 45005- with Pastor David Bickers, Pastor of Urbancrest Baptist Church in Lebanon, Ohio will be presiding. Family and friends may call at 12:30 PM. Burial to follow in Miami Valley Memorial Gardens, Centerville, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Anderson Funeral Home, Franklin, Ohio.
