

Brad was a 1983 graduate of Carlisle High School where he was a wrestler, and attended the Montgomery County JVS, where he earned a diploma in HVAC. He was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church throughout his childhood, and following high school, Brad joined the United States Army where he proudly served his country at Fort Bliss in Texas. Upon the completion of his service, Brad worked for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections at Lebanon Correctional Institute. He was a long time member of the Iron Workers Local 290 and obtained many certifications for teaching safety. He was most recently working as a safety consultant and teaching occupational safety courses.
Brad loved to be around his family and friends and was often the life of the party. He loved music, candy, motorcycles, thrifting, collecting, and fishing with friends and his grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ann Boy; wife and childhood sweetheart, Jacqui Boy; and nephew, Zachary Fitzmaurice.
Brad is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Brad) McIntosh; sons, Justin and Jacob Boy; grandchildren, Max, and Conor McIntosh; siblings, Mark Boy, Megan Porter, and Paula (Jeff) Burgert; special friend, Melanie Wild; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will take place at Anderson Funeral Home 40 North Main Street, Springboro, OH 45066 on Wednesday July 30, 2025, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Funeral service will immediately follow at 6:00 pm. A graveside service for Brad will take place on Thursday August 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Dayton National Cemetery with military honors.
