Carl E. Hirschbach, age 79, of Lebanon, OH, died Thursday October 15, 2015 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Middletown, Ohio to Stanley and Loretta (Weidle) Hirschbach. He was formerly employed with Armco Steel, Chief of Police for the City of Springboro for 31 years, served on Clearcreek Fire Department, served as acting City Manager, was Street Superintendent, was a member of the Lions Club, and Knights of Pythias, and was President of Warren County Law Enforcement. Carl was voted Citizen of the Year by the Lions Club, drove a race car, a school bus for Springboro, enjoyed fishing and NASCAR, and worked on the farm. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Hirschbach, mother, Loretta Hirschbach, and son, Carl L. Hirschbach. Carl is survived by his wife Virginia Izor Hirschbach son, Rick (Denise) Hirschbach; 3 granddaughters Amy, Sallie, and Amber, and great grandchildren; brother, Lester (Arline) Hirschbach.
