Carl Dean Roberts

Carl Dean Roberts, age 90 of Franklin, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home, just one day after his 90th birthday, on January 14, 2026. Born in Stanton, Kentucky on January 13, 1936, he was a son to the late Jesse & Mamie (Centers) Roberts. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda J. (Honshul) Roberts: daughter in infancy Beth Ann Roberts: brothers Paul Roberts, Charles Roberts: sister Etta Turner.

Survived by his children Gary D. & Doris Roberts; Jessica C. (Roberts) & Scott Boschert; Randy L. & Tiffany Roberts; Brian & Jennifer Roberts: grandchildren Gary Roberts, Jr. & Ande; Chad & Heather Roberts; Shawn & Erin Banks; Heather & Mike Lachmanen; Tyler & Allie Boschert; Katie & Alden Smith; Ashley & Casey Stephens; Jacob & Josie Losekamp; Nick & Kylie Losekamp; Joshua & Shannon Roberts; Samantha & Connor Baylis; Allison Roberts; Emma & Ian McGuire; Austin "Tex" Burrows; Benjamin Roberts: 24 great-grandchildren: siblings Ruby Ewen; Jerry Roberts: as well as many more extended family members and friends.

Carl was a man of faith, and enjoyed spreading the love of God to others. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church, where he truly found his home. Carl never met a stranger, and as a matter of fact, upon meeting him you could always expect to hear one of these two questions: "Are you a Christian?" and "Do you know Bobby Reed?". Carl will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but we can rejoice in knowing that Carl, a good and faithful servant, will be spending eternity hand in hand with the Lord. A very special thank you to the Hospice of Middletown for all of the care and support they showed Carl and the Robert's family, you are all truly angels!

Friends may call on the family on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St, Franklin, Ohio, 45005. A funeral will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Unity Baptist Church, 5960 Trenton Franklin Rd, Middletown, OH 45042 with Pastors Bobby Reed and James Anderson presiding.
