She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas William Proffitt.
Carol is survived by her four sons, Thomas William Proffitt, Jr., James (Lisa) Proffitt, Michael (Bonnie) Proffitt, Stephen Proffitt; daughter, Cynthia Proffitt-Tod; seven grandchildren, Natalie, James, Jeffery, Andrea, Jennifer, Alex, Nick; five great grandchildren and brother, Thomas Stoppelman.
Graveside services will be in Butler County Memorial Park on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 11:00am with Pastor Michael Proffitt officiating.
