Carole H. Mayabb

Carole J. (Humbert) Mayabb, age 81, of Middletown, formerly of Howard, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016. She was born January 17, 1935 in Mount Vernon, OH, to the late Farland and Francis (Kaylor) Humbert. Carole is survived by her three sons, Mark Naber and David Naber, both of Middletown, and James (Tami) Naber of Howard; four grandchildren, Rebecca and Emily of Lebanon, Hunter of Middletown and Rachel of Howard. Carole graduated from Howard High School and went to The Ohio State University and Miami University in Oxford, where she earned her Master’s Degree. She was employed by Middletown City Schools Board of Education for 30 years where she was the food director. She retired in 2005. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Breitenbach-Anderson Funeral Homes, 517 S. Sutphin St., Middletown, with funeral service beginning at 7:00 pm. A graveside service will take place at Workman Cemetery in Danville, OH on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 11:30 am.
