Charles W. Jackson, age 73, of Miamisburg, OH and formerly of Franklin and Carlisle, entered into eternal rest Thanksgiving morning, November 27, 2014 after spending his last days surrounded by his family. He was born June 26, 1941 in Hudson, MI to the late Kenneth and Mildred Jackson. After moving from Delta and Coldwater, Ohio to Norwalk, Ohio, Charles attended St. Paul's Catholic High School. He married Deanna in 2000. They moved to North Port, FL for a time before making their home in Miamisburg. He was a former board member of the Carlisle Baseball Association, scoreboard operator for the Carlisle Pee Wee Football Association, organized Carlisle and Franklin nights at the Cincinnati Reds games and was a member of the Franklin Amvets Post #120. Charles was an avid sports fan, a passion that he passed on to his son. He kept up on the Friday night Franklin scores, and up until recently, attended the state high school football championship games in Canton and Massillon with Greg every year. In March, 2014, Charles welcomed his only grandchild, Piper into the world and felt blessed to have her in his life.
