

Born on August 27, 1950, Charles lived a life devoted to faith, service, and family. He proudly served in the United States Army and later answered a higher calling as a pastor and missionary. Charles dedicated his life to serving the Lord, sharing the Gospel, and touching countless lives with compassion, guidance, and unwavering love. His ministry was not just his work — it was his life’s purpose.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents Raymond Sr. and Oretha Snider and siblings Ramona Clark, Rick, Marion, and Patrick Snider, his beloved wife, Ann Snider; the mother of his daughters, Jennifer Snider, his grandson, Dereck Shepherd; and his granddaughter, Jenna Sparks.
He leaves behind his four daughters: Angel Shepherd; Heidi (Mark) Lawson; Kelley (Robert) Bailey; and Crissy (Eb) Sparks. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Jaylin (Nick) Barksdale, Brooke Shepherd, Bailey Snider, Kyle (Lauren) Lawson, Holly (Braxton) Lawwill, Caleb Sparks, Kyle Bailey and Devon Sparks. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Kenlley, Braxton, Princeton, Kamille, Benjamin, Kehlani, Kolby, and Carter. Charles also shared a special bond with his niece, Michelle (Chris) White, and her children Hailey, Jaydin, Cameron, and Star.
Charles will be remembered for his steadfast faith, gentle spirit, and the joy he found in serving others. His legacy lives on through the many lives he helped shape and the family he loved deeply. Though he is no longer with us, his example of devotion, kindness, and faith will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Friends may call on the family from 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the Anderson Funeral Home, Franklin, 1357 E 2nd St, Franklin, Ohio 45005-. A funeral will be held at 11:00 AM with Sister Jane Scott presiding. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
