Charles Sutter

He was the son of Charles W. & Emma Hess Sutter. He graduated from Purcell High School & Xavier University. He served our Country in WWII in the United States Navy, Seabee Division. Charlie retired from Middletown Regional Hospital in 1985 as Vice President of Finance & Administration. Charlie had been a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1610, 4th degree; American Legion #218; VFW Post #3809; HARE; Past President of Kiwanis Club; Chairman for United Way; Past Officer of Toastmaster, Middletown Elks; Finance Advisor for Junior Achievement; Treasurer of Middletown Symphony; Board Member for Butler Co. Health Association & American Heart Association; and member of Sons of Italy.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, & son, Charles W. Jr. He is survived by his six children: Gayle Tom Flynn of Bradenton, FL; Gregg Sandy Sutter of Cincinnati, OH; Patty Ken Gaines of Franklin, TN; Marc Lyn Sutter of Bethel, OH; Kathy Dick Martin of Middletown, OH; Michelle Don Brooks of Franklin, OH; and 12 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren: brother, Jack of Amelia, OH & sister Joyce Miller of New Richmond, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, September 17 at10:00 am at Holy Family Parish at St. John's Chapel. Father John Civille will officiate. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday, Sept. 16, from 1-3 p.m. at Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or Holy Family Parish.
