Charles Allen Watkins

Dr Charles Allen Watkins born April 20th 1946 died July 25th 2022. He is survived by daughter Anne M. Barnett, husband Dwight Barnett and children Lucas M. Nation, Matthew J. Nation, and Hannah M. Nation; son C. Allen Watkins II, wife Amanda J. Watkins and their child C. Allen "Charlie" Watkins III

Al was proceeded in death by parents Nelson and Martha (Osmond) Watkins and sister Linda Ary and brother Rodger Watkins. And wife of 52 years Bonnie Watkins

Al graduated from Centerville High School and served a stint in the Air Force Reserves. It was during this time a board fell from a roof and broke his foot, leading to an interest in medicine that led to his completion of a doctorate in Podiatry he received at the OhIo College of Podiatric Medicine. He had a practice in Spingboro for over 30 years

Al was a proud member of the Franklin Springboro Rotary Club and was also a Freemason at the Harveysburg Lodge # 312

He will be remembered as a loving caring father and grandfather. He had a kind heart that led to make many lifelong friendships. An avid reader and lover of learning Al had an encyclopedic memory and was always happy to share advice or ideas. He will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him
