Daniel Harold Detrick

Daniel was a caring man who loved the Lord which showed through his selfless, gentle character. He was enthusiastic about hunting, fishing, Duke basketball and time spent with family. Daniel had a love for the field of chemistry at the University of Cincinnati and later in life, found his passion as a managerial veterinary technician. Daniel never turned away someone in need and could always find a way to make them smile or laugh. His boisterous and energetic personality will be greatly missed.

Daniel was extremely loving and proud of his three children; Danielle Williams (Roger Williams), Claryssa Detrick and Daniel Detrick III, as well as his four grandchildren; Giana, Kaia, Clara and Sophia Williams. He is also survived by his best friend and former wife, Jill Detrick; parents, Dan and Janet Detrick; his brother, James Detrick (Stefanie Detrick); grandfather, Virgil Counts; niece, Chelsea Detrick; nephew, Hunter Detrick and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio. Funeral services are 11:00 am Wednesday February 28, 2018 at Springboro Baptist Church, 125 East Mill Street, Springboro, Ohio. Burial will be in Miami-Corwin Cemetery.
