

Daniel James Kelly, age 75 of Carlisle, OH passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020. He was born July 8, 1944 in the Brooklyn Naval Hospital, New York to the late Mary Lou (Kadle) and John L. Kelly. Mr. Kelly is survived by his brothers, Mark (Teresa) Kelly and John (Kaye) Kelly; and many nieces & nephews.
He graduated from Franklin High School in 1964 and worked as a TV Guide deliverer in his youth. Mr. Kelly resided at the Society for Handicapped Citizens in Carlisle, which his parents founded in his honor. He worked for and retired from the Society's workshop.
He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and looked forward to Spring training and Opening Day every year. Mr. Kelly loved to go on outings, camping, and smores around the campfire. He also enjoyed vacations to Gatlinburg, Myrtle Beach, and Disney. He always had a big smile on his face, would greet you and ask about you and your family, and had a knack for remembering dates. He was such a warm hearted gentleman. Mr. Kelly is going to be missed by so many.
A private Celebration of Mr. Kelly's Life will be held with Reverend Larry Lambes officiating. Final resting place in New Jersey Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Carlisle, Ohio. Condolences may be shared at www.anderson-fh.com.
