David A. "Butch" Combs, age 49, of Middletown, passed away Tuesday evening at the Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Middletown, August 14, 1961, the son of David and Darlene Combs, and was an Air Force veteran. He worked for the River Valley Credit Union as a Collector. Butch had a big heart and a strong will. He loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and "rode to live, and lived to ride". Above all, he loved his family. Survivors include his wife, Marena J. Combs; 3 sons, Nicholas Combs and Andrew Combs, both of Middletown, and Ryan Combs of Fairborn; his parents, David Combs and Darlene Cornett; 5 grandchildren, Ella, Dylan, Noah and Haley Combs, and Keene Auvil; a brother, Eric Combs; 2 sisters, Crystal Combs and Kasey Combs; and a stepson, Matt Auvil. Friends may call from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM Friday, March 11, at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, with the Rev. Jimmy Profitt officiating. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery.
