David Ray Hamilton

David Hamilton, age 59 of Trenton, OH went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2017 after a hard fought battle with cancer. David was born in Smyrna, TN on December 30, 1957. David was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend to all that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Matt Hamilton and mother, Juanita Hamilton. David is survived by his wife of 29 years, Donna (Conn) Hamilton; daughters, Peggy Edwards of Dayton, OH, Candice Newkirk (husband, Alan) of Goodyear, AZ, Kayla Hamilton Elliott (husband Heath) of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Ashley Edwards, Joshua Newkirk, Monica Newkirk, Colby Newkirk, Hugh Elliott, Willa Elliott; sister, Deborah Hamilton; lifelong friends, Randy Kidd, Rick Ryan and fur babies, Gentle Ben and Marbles.

David retired from Miller-Coors, and Trenton Rescue Squad (volunteer paramedic and firefighter). Hobbies include drag racing, automobile enthusiast and riding motorcycles.

Funeral services are Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10 am at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 S. Sutphin St., Middletown, OH with Pastor Todd Wallen officiating. Burial in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
