Dorothy Jean Lovely

Dorothy Jean Lovely, age 90, of Springboro, passed away Monday June 18, 2018 at Hillspring Health Care Center. She was born in Paintsville, Kentucky on January 5, 1928 to Millard and Sweetie (Gibson) Stapleton. Dorothy and Jack were married for 48 years, a lovely couple admired by many in the Springboro Community. She was employed with the Water Refinery in Middletown and Wright Patterson during WW II. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, her parents, sisters, Lavern Patton and Vivian Owsley, and brothers, Clyde and Lloyd Ancil Stapleton. also sister in law, Betty Stapleton, two brother in laws, Ben Patton and Tom Ousley. Dorothy Jean is survived by her brother, Claude Stapleton and a sister, Mary Lou Ousley. Also several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Services are 11:00 am Friday June 22, 2018 at Franklin Freewill Baptist Church 6194 State Route 123 Franklin, where she attended for the past 35 years, with Westly Meeks officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home, 40 N. Main St. Springboro. Burial in Springboro Cemetery.
