

Elinor Kay Poff, age 81, of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties on Saturday, October 24, 2015. She was the youngest of 8, born July 24, 1934 in Germantown, OH to the late John and Cora (Chambers) Thompson.
In addition to her parents, Elinor was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Howard C. Poff; 2 brothers, Dale & Warren; 3 sisters, Martha, June & Cora Jean. She is survived by 2 sisters, Mary Meijer & Jane Getter; 4 sisters-in-law, Donna (Larry) Baker, Gerry Poff, Dorothy Thompson & Vickie Thompson; 3 sons, Doug (Cathy) Poff of Jacksonville, Florida, Ron (Sherry) Poff of Tipp City & Jerry (Linda) Poff of Kettering; 2 daughters, Sharon (Tim) Taylor of Franklin & Karen Roe of Moraine; grandchildren, Kristi Poff, Colleen (Andy) Morlock, Shane Tegeler, Sabrina (Gary) Sisco, Steven (Kandi) Poff, Tara Taylor, Adam (Megan) Taylor & Charlie (Kara) Poff; great-grandchildren, Logan VanSant, Kelsey Sisco, Savannah Gabbard, Benjamin Mulholland, Jackson Sisco, Garrett Tegeler, Olivia Gabbard, Alexander Mulholland, Madison Poff, Chloe Poff, Levi Tegeler, Carter Taylor, Audrey Poff & Gracie Poff , Paul & Ronnie Harig; and special friend, Tom McClung.
Funeral services are Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 10:00 am at Anderson Funeral Homes, 40 North Main Street Springboro,OH. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
