

Ethel E. (Tootsie ) Coffey Herald, age 92 passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024, in the Hospice Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Miamisburg, Ohio. She retired from R. L. Drake Company. In her retirement years her passion was sewing, quilting, crocheting, and knitting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Herald; son, Randy Herald; grandson, Tyler Herald; parents, Walter and Mamie Coffey of Thorn Hill, TN; sister, Freda and brother-in-law, Horace Mallicoat; brother, Lloyd (Jack) and sister-in-law, Frankie Coffey; sister, Rose and brother-in-law, Hubert Davidson; brother, Wilbur and sister-in-law, Kathryn Coffey; brother, R.B. Coffey; and sister, Ann Holt.
She is survived by great-granddaughter, Ava Herald; brother, Robert Alton and sister-in-law, Evelyn Coffey; brother, Vernon and sister-in-law, Virginia Coffey; sister-in-law, Glenda Coffey;and brother-in-law, Truman Holt; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Special nephew and caregiver, Rodney Coffey.
Graveside services and interment will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024, at Mount Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery in Thorn Hill, TN where she will be buried beside her husband. Her nephew, Reverend Denver Davidson officiating.
Pallbearers will be: Eddie Coffey, Bob Coffey, Steve Coffey, Rodney Coffey, Robby Coffey, Mike Holt, Brett Coffey , and Will Hipsher.

Arrangements by Anderson Funeral Home, Franklin, Ohio who will transport her body to Tennessee.
Smith-Reagan Funeral Home, Rutledge, TN in charge of burial arrangements.
