Evelyn Sue Howard, age 66, of Middletown, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 26. Evelyn graduated Thomas Walker High School and Dayton School of Practical Nursing. She worked for many years in the healthcare profession and was a loving caretaker for many elderly. She was the beloved daughter of Arthur and Bessie Howard of Ewing, Va who preceded her in death along with brothers Shelby Media, Jim, Lewis, Charles and Carl Howard and sister Gladys Arthur Gibson.
She is survived by her son Matthew Howard Lindsey and grandson, Jackson Howard of Middletown. Surviving sisters are Betty Gilley Bob of Middletown, Ruth Myers of Ewing, Va, and Elda Bryan Mahlon of Atlanta Ga. Brothers are William S. Glenda of Fort Worth, Texas, and Walter Thelma of Ewing Va. Many nieces and nephews; special friends Joyce Ayres Currin, Lawanna Bowers, Wanda Conover of Middletown, Sara Lou Brooks and the late Judy Richards. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM, Wednesday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service starting at 6:00 PM.
