Gertie E. Adams, age 91, of Middletown, died Wednesday October 11, 2017 at home . She was born in Wolf Coal, Kentucky on September 22, 1926 to Riley and Laura (Stidham) Sizemore. Gertie was previously employed with Raymond Bag Co. and Bounty Buffet for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Orville Gross, 2nd. husband, Wendell South and later, husband Delmer Adams. also siblings, Charles, Jane, Mary, Asbury, Elbert, Hazel, Willie, Monroe, Mollie, Woodrow, James, Alpha and Beulah. Gertie is survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 10:00 am Tuesday October 17, 2017 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home 517 S. Sutphin Street Middletown with Pastor Dave Bowling officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
