

Helen Marie Stewart, age 85, of Dayton, died Wednesday, 27 April, 2016 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Helen resided at the Wellington of Dayton for the past year. She had been in failing health the last few years. Helen was born 31 December 1930 to the late Bernard and Mildred (Yazell) Stewart in Maysville, Kentucky. Helen was the owner of Glad Tidings Christian Supply in Rockville, Maryland before moving to Nashville, Tennessee, where she eventually retired from Trevecca Nazarene University. Helen attended West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene in West Carrollton, Ohio. Helen is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dr. Harold Franklin Stewart; four sons, J. D. (Patricia) Stewart of Cedar Park, Texas, Fred (Connie) Stewart of Miamisburg, Ohio, David (Carla) Stewart of Hillsdale, Michigan, Daniel (Jessica) Stewart of Morrisville, North Carolina; as well as 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and one brother, William (Norma) Stewart of Indianapolis, Indiana. Besides her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her sister, Edna McCormick of Maysville, Kentucky. Funeral services are Saturday, 30 April 2016, at 11AM at Anderson Funeral Homes (40 North Main Street Springboro, Ohio) with Pastor Bryan Heil and Pastor Ed Winkle officiating.
