Herman Raywas a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Army and was formerly employed with Burn's Security as a security guard.
He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Wilma Leap, Orville Metcalf, Mary Lois Jacobs, Dora Dean Witt, Orbra Jack Metcalf and Samuel Edward Metcalf. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Jones) Metcalf; his two sons, Kirk Ray (Becky) Metcalf, Eric Lee Metcalf; his eight grandchildren, Abigail (Brandon) Smooth, Anna (Nick) Harris, Noah Ray Metcalf, Joseph Metcalf, Grace Metcalf, Matthew Metcalf, Christopher Metcalf, Emalee Metcalf; his two great grandchildren, Embelyn and Miles.
Funeral Services for Herman Ray will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Abundant Life Tabernacle, 9440 Ebby Rd, Germantown, OH with Pastor James Setser and Pastor Tim Noble officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery with Military honors. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8pm at the church.
