Hershel Greg Lawson, age 60 of Middletown, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at the Dayton VA Hospital. He was born June 13, 1950 in Harriman, Tennessee the son of Hershel Jack Lawson and Lora Ward Lawson. Greg retired from AK Steel where he worked as a machinist. After retiring from AK Steel, he worked as a Realtor for Coldwell Banker in Middletown. Greg served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Ellison of Middletown; one granddaughter, Angela Lawson; one sister, Judy husband, James Woodward of Harriman, TN; and a brother, David Lawson of Riceville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be 7:00 PM Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Due to construction on Sutphin Street, please access the funeral home parking lot by way of the vacant lot next to 2300 Sherman Avenue.
