
Hoil A. York, age 93, of Franklin, Ohio, died Tuesday April 26, 2016. He was born in Duff, Tennessee on May 15, 1922 to Garrett and Bessie (Marlow) York. Hoil served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member and musician at the Cross and Crown Christian Assembly in Carlisle, OH. He was employed with B. G Danis for 40 plus years and retired in 1986. He was preceded in death by his father, Garrett York, mother, Bessie York, wife, Julia A. York, sisters, Christine Osborne and Jerry Wilson. Hoil is survived by three sons, James Ralph (Marilyn) York, Larry Boyd (Sharon)York, Gregory Scott (Talena) Ustel; daughter, Phyllis Lillian (Richard) Schoonover; three brothers, Tommy York, Gary Wayne York, Donny York; five sisters, Billie Jean Wright, Bobbie June Allison, Bernice, Joyce, Carolyn; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Saturday April 30, 2016 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Bob Maggard officiating.
