Jacqueline Fairchild

Jacqueline Lee Fairchild, age 82 of Middletown, died Friday, December 24, 2010, at the Spring Hills of Middletown. She was born January 23, 1928 in Kenova, West Virginia the daughter of Joseph York and Ida LeMaster York. Prior to marriage, Jackie worked as a secretary at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in the late 1940's. She was an active volunteer at Doty House for many years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She is survived by one son, Robert Bob Fairchild, Jr. and wife, Nancy of Middletown; one daughter, Jeri Stewart and husband, Hans of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one brother, Thomas York of Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Fairchild, Sr. in 2005, and her parents. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Dean Penrod officiating. Visitation will be 5-7:00 PM Monday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Burial will be at the North Monroe Cemetery.
