James Eugene Callahan, age 77, of Springboro, Ohio, passed away Saturday May 26, 2018 at home. He was born in Franklin, Ohio on May 3, 1941 to Rolland and Helen (Smith) Callahan. James served in the United States Army and he was employed with General Motors for 37 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Melissa Ann Dedden and a sister, Joyce Reese. James is survived by his wife of 26 years, Barbara A. (Cox) Callahan, grandson, Alex (Caitlin) Callahan; great grandson, Caden Callahan; two brothers, Larry (Donna) Callahan and Jerry (Donna) Callahan also a stepdaughter, Angela (Pat) Lytle and grand daughter, Gillian Paugh. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Saturday June 2, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Home 40 North Main Street Springboro, with Pastor Ethan Daves officiating.
