James Eich

James Wendel Eich, age 85 of Middletown, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 at the Liberty Nursing Home. He was born November 1, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Merrill Eich and Florence Schickner Eich. James worked at the House of Drugs in Franklin, Gillen Crow Pharmacy and retired from Middletown Regional Hospital after 26 years of service as a Pharmacist. He is survived by a daughter, Marti Thomas of Middletown; two sons, Kevin Eich and Paul wife, Amy Eich, all of Middletown; six grandchildren, Aaron, Megan, Sara, Martha, Devon, and Emily; seven great grandchildren, Kean, Tyler, Ayron, Graham, Carson, Mary and Xander; three brothers, Rolla wife, Alice Eich of Miamisburg, Wayne wife, Carol Eich of Charleston, West Virginia, and Warren Eich of Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Marilyn Eich; his parents; and a son, David Eich.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday at the Stratford Heights Church of God with Pastor Ray Phillips officiating. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Wednesday and 10-11:00 am Thursday at the church. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park.
