Janet Rogers

Janet L Rogers, age 92, of Germantown, passed away Tuesday January 15, 2019 at Heartland of Miamisburg. She was born in Miamisburg, on September 29, 1926 to Henry and Gladys (Eby) Nickel. Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Billy D. Rogers, parents, a brother Howard Nickel, and a grandchild, Angela. Janet is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Ron Tipton) Englebrecht; a son, Ron (Darlene) Rogers; 3 grandchildren, James (Jennifer), Rebecca (Zach), Brian; 1 great grandchild, William; and a sister, Lois Turner. Also a special friend/caregiver, Barb Coherd. Janet was an avid card player, excellent seamstress, amazing cook and gardener. She also contributed many hours to the Lioness' activities. Janet loved spending time with all of her grandchildren on the family farm. Visitation will be Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services are 12:00 pm Thursday, at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 East Second Street Franklin. Burial in New Jersey Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
