Janice Mae Disher

Janice married Robert E. Disher, Sr. on June 5, 1965. The resided in Franklin for most of their marriage, raising three children together and helping to raise two wonderful grandchildren.

Janice was a homemaker. She always had a huge garden, from which she would make all the delicious things she canned. Her favorite things included her word search books, her flowerbed, her many knickknacks and pictures.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Juanita Reffitt; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leroy and Marie Disher.

Janice is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert, whom she lovingly referred to as "her man". Daughters, Vonda (Timothy) Payne, Nita (Brian) Stout and a son, Robert (Deb) Disher.

Grandchildren: Lindsey (Aaron) Clark, Christopher (Amanda) Stout, Bradley (Ashley) Spencer and Megan (Matt) Kreate.

Great Grandchildren: Sara, Jayce, Kaytlin, Phoebe, Emerson, Spencer, Lochlan and Brennan.

She was loved by so many more and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Anderson Funeral Home- Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street with Reverend Danny McCann officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park in Trenton, Ohio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Friday.
