John Blankenship Jr., age, 86 formerly of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Mt. Dora, Florida. He was born August 18, 1928 in Tuscola, Kentucky the son of John and Martha (Spillman) Blankenship.
John was formerly employed with Dayton Power Light for 32 years and was a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Julia Blankenship.
John is survived by his children, Mike Blankenship and Karen Ostermann; also 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
