He was born in Hazard, KY to John Sr & Lula Mae (Pickett) Cotterell
He graduated from Franklin High School in1962. He served in the US Army & was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Sheet Metal Local 224.
He is survived by his wife, Karen, of 53 years, his daughter, Vickie, his son Mike (Debi). his grandson, Kevin, sister Pat (Gary) Green & numerous nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Betty Carroll
A visitation for John will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Freedom Worship Center, 90 Deardoff Road, Franklin, OH 45005, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
