I still find myself looking at my grandmothers obituary, I still wear her necklace that was her mother's. 
Ill never forget going to her house every morning before school, being greeted by chocolate chip pancakes. 
I remember her always loving me for who I truly was. I was 16 when she passed, and now as a 20 year old woman I feel as if I need her more than ever. I loved Joyce with every fiber of my heart; Shedding tears when I truly just need a hug from her. I adore her forever. 
I jus pray shes in the heaven she always told me about. I hope she's proud of me. 
I really miss her and I dont think that'll ever change 
I just hope she'd be proud of who I am today


Joyce was there when I began at Hillcrest Baptist Church and I moved my membership from Christian Assemblies of God to Baptist Church.  My son and I were baptised together in their Church in Carlisle, and she was part of it.  A wonderful lady who I will always remember.

Karen Alexander Roberts and the McCoy Family, Joyce was a lovely person who had a very positive outlook on life. I always enjoyed being in her presence. She will be missed by so many, but is where she wanted to be: reunited with Roy in heaven. What wonderful memories you have of Joyce! Cherish them!

Joyce will be missed by her many cousins as well. It was always a joy to be around her. I always looked forward to her Kentucky visits as a child knowing I'd be treated special and usually a treat or hand-me-down that I adored. Then as I grew older just really enjoying the little time we got tossed together. We had such a pre scouts visit a couple years ago at her home that I will cherish always. To her sons I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet momma You are in my prayers for comfort.

Joyce was so kind & a pure pleasure to be around. Thankfully her pain is gone that she may be at rest now. I am quite sure heaven was a rockin place when she hit the gates! :) She was always a fun loving \people person\". She loved the Lord & so was also a wonderful Christian."

We were neighbors for 7 years. Lots of good memories. Joyce was the one person that was wiling to babysit and her home was always open. We are praying for all of you.

Joyce was always so happy and had a uplifting spirit about her. Craig, Gary and Dan you were so blessed to have such a loving Mother. May God fill your heart with peace and comfort.

It is with a heavy heart that I leave my condolence to Joyce's family. Joyce and I shared laughter and tears as we worked together and attended church, Sunday School and choir together for many years. She was a wonderful friend and Christian and I will miss her greatly.
