

Jurrien John Potter Sr., age 82 of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Kensington Place. Jurrien was born in Grand Rapids, MI on January 20, 1934 to the late Floyd and Theresa Potter.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Carrie Potter.
Jurrien served as a Army paratrooper in the Korean War. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Jurrien will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his three sons, David (Debbie) Potter, John (Tony Pieratt) Potter, Jr., Kenneth (Joyce) Potter; three daughters, Pamela (Alvin) Gilbert, Linda (Bob) Williams, Peggy (Doug) Carter; three step daughters, Edna (Steve Lofvendahl) Williams, Penny (Jeff) Gayhart, Jean (Barry) Medley; step son, Ben (Tracie) Williams; brother, John (Arlene) Potter; two sisters, Delores McClellan, Linda (Warren) Snyder and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great granchild, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 S. Sutphin Street Middletown, OH.
Funeral services are Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 11:00 am also at the funeral home with Pastor Vernon Risner officiating. Burial to follow in Woodside Cemetery.
