

Kanda Rae Johnson, age 67, of Lebanon passed away suddenly on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, Ohio. She was born in Amarillo, Texas on June 29, 1958, the daughter of the late John R. and Delaine (Busbee) Stackhouse.
Kanda is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Greg Johnson; her two daughters, Kacie (Steve) Hatmaker, Sarah (Ryan Webb) Johnson; two sisters, Tam Stackhouse, Tica (Dave) Mercer; her four grandchildren, Nora, Chloe and Owen Hatmaker, Ellis Webb. She is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
Kanda was a graduate of Franklin High School, Class of 1977 and was a member of the Methodist Faith. She worked for many years in customer service and was a member of the Lebanon Optimists Club. Kanda never met a stranger and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and granddogs. Kanda had many interests which included gardening, crafting, antiquing and thrifting. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the Anderson Funeral Home- Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin. Interment will follow in Woodhill Cemetery in Franklin. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Friday.
