Kenneth Henderson

Kenneth Guy Henderson, 73, of Middletown, went to his heavenly home Monday, April 1, 2013 at 5:40 a.m. He was born to the late William Earl Henderson and Lois Combs, May 16, 1939 in Middletown, Ohio. Ken received a Bachelor's Degree in Police Science from Roosevelt University, a Master of Arts-Sociology from The International University, and was bestowed upon an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Pacific Western University and School of Religion. Ken served on the Middletown Police Department and in the U.S. Navy. He pastored many churches before his retirement in May of 2010. He passionately lived his life to help people know God and deepen their faith. Ken was survived by his wife of 51 years, Connie, of Middletown and three sons; Robert, Steve Jennifer, Kenny Donita all of Middletown. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great granddaughters. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Quest Church 6933 Hendrickson Road, Middletown, Ohio 45044. A viewing will be held at Quest Church on Thursday from 5-8:00 p.m., with services at 10:00 AM Friday, Pastor Kenneth A. Henderson officiating. Burial will be at North Cemetery in Monroe.
